On behalf of Asian Contemporary Art Consortium (ACAC), we are pleased to announce Asian Contemporary Art Week (ACAW) 2009. The participation information and registration form for this year’s ACAW is now available.

Since 2001, ACAW has continued in it’s mission to gather an alliance of museums, galleries, collectors, educators and others determined to create awareness and appreciation of Asian contemporary art. Through this coalition, ACAW has been successful in calling attention to a dynamic range of artists exhibiting at participating venues acompanied by a week-long series of specially designed public programs. This year we plan to continue our mission with a program titled “Open Portfolios”: a series of conversations, project presentations, and screenings by emerging and established artists at select venues.

We invite all former ACAW participants and call on all others (public and private venues as well as independent dealers/curators) who are interested in applying to join us in another exciting and revealing round.
